The tool consists of four parts

  • company data
  • sickness costs
  • preventable illness
  • possible savings = scope for investments

Calculations can be made for four sickness cases

  1. operator working though feeling ill reduced performance
  2. operator on sick leave, no replacement available machine standstill
  3. operator on sick leave, replacement takes over extra costs and reduced performance
  4. operator so ill that he has to quit forestry new recruitment
